Whew-Hoo!!! YOU have “five” days left until Spring Break begins!!! What will you spend your week doing????

    

Students, SPRING BREAK will be here in five days!!  So what are your plans?  Discuss in your posting what next week will look like for you, and also talk about where you “wish” you could go!  Will you spend the week doing something to help others–volunteering?  Some of us will go out of town on a nice, long, relaxing vacation, whereas others may enjoy that nice, long, relaxing week at home!  Either way you look at it, they all sound GREAT to me!!  Remember to ALWAYS re-read your posting to check for spelling and grammatical errors BEFORE hitting reply!!  Also, don’t forget to comment on someone else’s posting before you finish!

   

Have you ever heard of the saying, “CRIME doesn’t pay?” Well it’s hurting our community…what can be done about it?

No it doesn’t “pay” to commit crimes, but people do it anyway, and the amount of CRIMES in our communities seems to continue to increase by the hour!  What do you think realistically can be done about the increase in CRIME in today’s society?  How can we predict the future and STOP most crimes even before they happen? 

Think about this wholeheartedly before you type your response.  This is a very SERIOUS topic, and creatively speaking we have to do some things differently to produce a positive outcome.  Discuss where you think the problem lies and how do we fix it..what’s your SOLUTION????  Remember to re-read and check your response for errors, AND also comment on someone else’s posting— BEFORE you hit REPLY!! 

   

The CRCT is APPROACHING!! How do you plan to make sure you are PREPARED to pass the test??

The CRCT is fastly approaching.  What are YOU prepared to do as a STUDENT to make sure you PASS the test and NOT have to attend SUMMER SCHOOL????  There are exactly 20 more ACADEMIC days before the testing period begins..YOU cannot just TALK about it, YOU have to BE about it!!!!!  We want you ALL to not only PASS, but EXCEED!!!!!  So, search your hearts and minds to discuss in one COMPLETE paragraph, how you plan to exceed, what areas do you know you need help in (subjects), and when you pass the CRCT–what are your plans for the summer????  Make sure you answer ALL QUESTIONS.  Please check your spelling and re-read your comment BEFORE you submit it!!  Don’t forget to comment on someone else’s posting when you’re done!!  

                                                                                                                                                    

The month of MARCH is declared WOMEN’S HISTORY MONTH!!!

        

Women’s History Month is celebrated in the month of March annually here in the United States to highlight the contributions of women and girls historically and in today’s modern day society.  Internationally there are several countries in which women are subservient and have no rights.  We should be glad to know that since the 19th Amendment was established, all women in the U.S. should be treated equally and have the right to vote.

 To acknowledge this very important topic/issue, think about all the contributions women have made to our way of life and every area of society.  Research an important young lady or discuss anyone that comes to mind, and share what SHE has done for your life, your community, and/or society as a whole.  How has this person had an impact on generations?  Remember to re-read your comment for errors, make corrections,and reply to someone else’s comments before you are done!!
